Online Lecture Series Online Lecture Series “Commoning” continues this semester
The project “Heritage as Placemaking” started this lecture series in the summer semester 2024. It continues this winter semester 2024/25 with four online sessions (Mondays).
“Heritage as Placemaking: The Politics of Solidarity and Erasure in South Asia” is a four-year, joint research project between the Heidelberg Centre for Transcultural Studies (HCTS), Social Science Baha (Kathmandu), SOAS University of London and partnering researchers, funded by the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond. The project’s public lectures follow yearly theoretical strands, of which “Commoning” is our current theme. The series is chaired by Prof. Dr. Christiane Brosius and Dr. Monica Mottin.
